What your CleanFlow clean includes

The work is based on the survey findings and agreed with you before it proceeds.

Clean the inside of the system

  • Apply a heating-system cleaner.
  • Drain down the system as many times as needed, with additional cleaner where required, to bring the heating water into the correct balance.
  • Work to clear blocked pipes, radiators and other system blockages.
  • Carry out other improvements recommended by the survey and agreed with you.

Treat, re-test and record

  • Add inhibitor, a protective treatment for the heating water.
  • Re-test the heating water after the work — normally £29.99, included free with CleanFlow.
  • Issue a Completion Certificate only after a successful test scores more than 80%.

When CleanFlow may be considered

CleanFlow may be recommended where the evidence supports system cleaning as an appropriate response. The recommendation should explain why that work is relevant to the recorded findings.

It is not bundled into a professional Heating Survey and is not triggered automatically by an Assessment result.

Other appropriate outcomes

Depending on the findings, monitoring, maintenance, repair, another specialist check or no immediate work may be more suitable. Ask for an explanation of the options and the reasons for any recommendation.

Choosing another contractor? Test before and after

Test your heating water before work starts and again after it is complete, so you can see what changed and check the outcome against the work you paid for.

The £30 Twin Re-test Pack gives you two assessments, each with a dashboard and report, to compare results before and after the work.

Compare the water-quality, inhibitor and pH readings, then discuss the results with your contractor alongside the agreed work.
